Swedish Vallhunds
Our Vallhunds live inside with us as part of the family (along with their giant Borzoi buddy, Ghost & our Rescue mutt, Mischka). They sleep with us and cuddle on the couch as we watch movies. We take them out hiking on adventures frequently (which is their ultimate). They love to run in the pack and explore the wildernesses across America.
They've all been to many places: Nevada, California, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and Texas, to name a few.

Bred by Peta Dowle at Barahwolfe Kennels in New Zealand. Imported to the US in 2019 to live with us here at Silmarillion as part of the American Connection with Barahwolfe Kennels.
Beautiful dark colored male w/ a full curled tail.
Personality: Energetic, great drive, super obedient, and very affectionate to his people. Has a very nice watchdog instinct.
Super goofy boy and loves to go for long hikes. Has never ending energy outdoors, but great off-switch in home. Very well mannered and very handsome boy.

Made a 4,000 mi round trip in 2021 to pick her up and every mile was worth it. She is a fantastic little dog.
Gorgeous yellow sable female with stub tail.
Personality: A very mature, grounded Vallhund. She is smart, intelligent and affectionate.
Athletic little girl. Calm, but great energy and drive. She can hike for miles and learns super quickly. Great off switch indoors and loves to snuggle with you when watching a movie.
Superb mother like qualities and an all round stable, sweet girl.

Personality: Probably the goofiest dog we've ever had. Loves to make everyone laugh, doesn't know a stranger at all.
Shows fantastic herding instincts/drive (will continue to pursue this with him) Highly toy driven and loves to go on car rides and long hikes in the wilderness.
So much fun and personality in such a small body.
